ENTERING MEXICO; To enter Mexico you will need an
official birth certificate with a raised seal or a valid passport. Those
traveling with minors please consult your travel agent about necessary papers
for minors.
FLIGHTS; Most flights are via Mexico City and then
to the Veracruz or Villahermosa airport where our Mexico trips originate. On
most trips we greet the afternoon flight at the originating airport. For return
flights home plan on the early morning departure flight to your connecting city
for flight home. Complete flight details are available for your trip.
WEATHER; All trips are scheduled at the end of the
rainy season to provide the best river flow and weather. Average daytime high
reach into the eighties while nighttime lows drop to the upper sixties. Light
showers do occur occasional, but heavy rains are unlikely. In general the
weather is very pleasant this time of the year in Mexico.
GROUP OUTINGS; Group trips are available for six or
more and special itineraries can be arranged. Kayak support trips are also
available. Please call for complete details on group outings.
SAFETY; Participants must realize that trips take
place in remote areas and away from any immediate medical facilities.
Whitewater and adventure travel trips have certain element of danger beyond our
control. All participants must sign a release form and be in good health.
