Day 2: Big Fun! First on the agenda this morning, a big traditional breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast we'll still have ample time to explore this small town before we climb aboard the bus and make our journey to the river. Today we'll challenge big water on the Reventazon. This is a great river day before we return to our hotel. Tonight we'll have a big dinner and conversations of today's big fun.

Day 3: A great jungle experience today as we run the Rio Pacuare. This river has it all. We'll encounter class III-IV rapids, virgin rainforest, monkeys, exotic butterflies and 150 foot waterfalls tumbling into the river as we wind our way down river between towering 1,000 foot canyon walls. Today the journey ends just downstream of the stunning Dos Montanas Gorge. A fantastic lunch is planned at the "Caribbean Dish" before we head to Chilamate and the Selva Verde Lodge.

Day 4: You can spend the morning relaxing or join us for the spectacular show of colorful birds feeding this morning around the lodge. See Toucans, Montezuma Orioles, Parakeets and more in this beautiful setting. Later today we off to a private reserve with a trained biologist to learn more about the indigenous plants and animals on this special jungle trek.

Day 5: More whitewater action! Today several whitewater options are available. A fun run on the Rio Sapapiqui or taking on the famous Rio Toro and continuous Class IV+ rapids. Water levels and overall group skills will help determine our section for today.

Day 6: Today is for sightseeing! We'll visit the Carrillo National Park first this morning. In the evening it's on to the Arenal Volcano area for some relaxing in the Tabacon hot springs. Here, on a clear day you can watch molten lava trickle down the mountain as we soak in the hot springs. Your camera is a must today, bring lots of film.

Day 7: Today is for relaxing, sightseeing and the options are plentiful. Explore the area or join us for horseback riding, mountain biking or hiking. Of course the hot springs await you for some great relaxing. We'll all gather tonight for our final dinner celebration.

Day 8: We'll depart early this morning for our trip back to Jan Jose and the airport. Souvenir shopping along the way will slow our trip back to reality and home.
